1238 vacancies are available for Executives with Prasar Bharti as per the notification taken out by the autonomous body for the current year i.e. 2013. The positions available in this category are meant for Transmission executives and Programme Executives etc. Advertisement regarding the same was published in Employment News on 23^rd of March, 2013. There are three hundred and sixty posts for Programme Executives, 806 posts for Transmission Executive Group-B and 72 posts for Production Assistant Group-B or Transmission Executives.

Selection Process
Written Exam scheduled for 2^nd June, 2013 comprises of objective and descriptive type papers. Paper 1 which is objective in nature comprises of 50 marks. The paper is of two hour duration.
