Name of the Post : Assistant Administrative Officer

Total No. of Vacancies : 750 Posts

Pay Scale / Salary : Candidates selected for AAO Jobs in LIC will be paid Basic pay of Rs.17240 /- per month in the scale of Rs.17240- 840(14) –29000– 910(4)–32640 + Allowances. Currently the LIC AAOs in A Class Cities are drawing Approx. Rs.33,418/- per month. The Pay scale is under revision & the salary may increase further.

Probationary Period is initially for One year but can be extendable up to 2 years as per the requirements.

Selection Process : Online Test - Personal Interview - Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination.

Eligibility Criteria for LIC Recruitment of AAO :
Education Qualification : Bachelor / Master’s Degree from a recognized Indian University/ Institution with a minimum of 55% marks in the aggregate in either of the Degrees.

Age Limit : As on 1st March, 2013 the age of the candidates applying for LIC AAO Recruitment should be more than 21 years & below 30 years. That means candidates born between 02/03/1983 and 01/03/1992 only are eligible. However candidates belong to reserved categories have age relaxation as per Indian Government Jobs rules.

Fees : General / OBC Candidates should pay Application Fee-cum-Intimation Charges of  Rs.500/- plus Bank Charges /Gateway Charges. Candidates belong to SC/ST/PH should pay only Rs. 50/- as fees.

Department of Atomic Energy is inviting candidates to apply for Assistant Security Officer. The candidates can view details online under Advertisement No. AMD-1/2013.

  
There are total of 170 vacancies out of which ten seats are for Assistant Security Officer, 60 Posts for Security Guards and 100 posts for Work Assistant. Seats are divided among general quota, OBC and other reserved categories.

Assistant Security Officer-A (Male) will be getting Rs.9, 300-34,800 along with GP and other allowances. Security Guard (Male) will be getting Rs.52, 000-20,200 along with GP of Rs.1, 800/-plus other allowances.
  

Eligibility criteria  

Age criteria: Age limit as mentioned in the advertisement for the post is as follows:

• For Assistant Security Officer-A (Male) a person should not be less than eighteen or more than 27 years.
• Security Guard (Male) should not be below 18 years and not above 27 years of age.
• Work Assistant – A (Male & Female) should be at the minimum 18 years of age and at the maximum 27 years of age.
• Relaxation for SC candidates is five years and for OBC candidates it is 3 years. Only reserved category candidates are eligible for age relaxation.

Qualification criteria

• Assistant Security Officer – A (Male) should be a graduate. Degree should be from a University that is recognized.
• Any 10^th pass student or one that has educational qualifications equivalent to it can apply for the post of Security Guard (Male).

Selection process

Screening is conducted for applicants who are selected. The physical endurance test has to be cleared for the post of Assistant Security Officer. Those who clear this test only they can sit for the written test. Security Guard post requires the same procedure for selection. Interview is the last step in the selection procedure. Date and time for test and interview is only revealed to the selected applicants.

A typewritten application on an A4 people should be submitted to the organization. Directions for writing the application are given along with the advertisement.
