Introduction:  Board of Revenue for Rajasthan takes out various posts for job seekers from time to time. Direct recruitment for Patwari Posts 2013 is being offered at present. The board looks after the administration of the State, Judiciary, land records, inspection, Tehsildar service and finance and accounting etc.

Patwaris work at village level. They are land record officers for a sub-division or a Tehsil. Patwari has to visit agricultural land which comes under his jurisdiction and he notes down the details of its ownership and other details dealing with tilling of the land. Today the work is more or less computerized in rural areas as well so the work done is fast, true to nature and without any delays of any kind in submitting information and reports. Patwari registers a case of mutation also.

Patwari system in India is an age old land revenue collection and record maintenance system. Many old words still associated with the system are still in use and these are officially accepted in government records. Some of the old terms are Girdawari, khasra number, wakf board, Haqshufa, Vasiyat, Khatouni, Ntkaal, Patti, Jamabandi and Jareeb etc.

There are a total number of two thousand and two hundred and seventy one 2271 posts available for desiring candidates for the post of Patwari with State of Rajasthan. Eligibility

Age limt
  • Desiring candidates for the Patwari Recruitment should not be less than eighteen years and not more than thirty years of age. Relaxation for various categories is there according to government notification.
Educational Qualification
  • Any person carrying a 10+2 pass certificate can apply for this examination. The certificate should be from a recognized University. An equivalent degree equivalent to 10+2 certificate qualification is also acceptable to sit for the Patwari Recruitment 2013 Exam.

Selection process Rajasthan Patwari Vacancy 2013

About Selection Process

Selected candidates will be called to sit for a written exam on 26th May, 2013. Written test will be followed by an interview.
